Shipping & Delivery FAQs

How much does UK shipping cost and how long does it take?

  • Cost: Standard shipping within the UK is £5, but it is free for all orders over £150.

  • Timeline: Orders are processed Monday through Friday via Royal Mail. Please allow 3 to 5 working days for the team to prepare your package. If you need your order urgently, you can reach out directly to see if they can accommodate a faster option.

Do you ship internationally?

  • Yes. International orders are sent fully tracked via DHL Express (or a similar courier service) and take up to 10 working days.

  • Rates: Shipping to the EU, USA, and Canada is £30. Shipping to Australia and New Zealand is £40.

  • Note: International buyers are responsible for any custom duties, import taxes, or local fees applied at the border.

 Returns & Exchanges FAQs

What is the return policy for UK orders?

  • Items can be returned for a refund within 14 days of receipt at your own expense. It is recommended to use a tracked or insured postal service, as the boutique is not liable for lost return packages.

  • Inside your parcel, make sure to include a note with your name and order number (or a copy of your invoice/confirmation email).

What condition must items be in to qualify for a refund?

  • All items must be carefully folded and returned in fully resalable, unworn, and unwashed condition with all original sales tags still attached. Items returned damaged, stained, or missing tags will not be eligible for a refund.

Can I drop off my online return in person at the Woodbridge boutique?

  • Yes you can as long as the item still meets the returns criteria above.

    • Inside your parcel, make sure to include a note with your name and order number (or a copy of your invoice/confirmation email).

Can I exchange an item for a different size or colour?

  • Exchanges are not offered. Because the boutique stocks sustainable, independent brands in small, limited quantities per style/size, items sell out quickly. If you want a different size or colour, you must return your original item for a refund and place a brand-new order online.

What is the international return policy?

  • All international sales are final sale and are not eligible for returns or exchanges due to long-distance transit. It is highly recommended to email the studio prior to purchasing if you need exact garment measurements or sizing advice.

What should I do if my item is faulty or damaged?

  • Check your items as soon as you receive them. If there is an issue, email thestudio@newstreetprojects.com immediately before sending anything back. Provide your name, order number, a clear description of the problem, and a photo of the fault.

How do I know which pieces are sustainable and more ethically conscious?  

  • You can rest assured that all the brands we work with at The Studio are committed to sustainability and ethical clothing production which means smaller slower production, mostly hand made pieces, a commitment to natural materials and fair wages and a commitment to the health of our planet and what we return to it's soils. 

Sizing  

Do you carry a range of sizes?

  • We carry a variety of styles from roughly size 8-16. Sizing differs between brands so some styles accommodate a wider range as well as including a number of 'one size' pieces. Many styles are also designed with room to move.

 

ACCESSIBILITY 

Are you wheel chair accessible?

  • Sadly we are not currently wheel chair accessible in The Studio. Our connecting venue New Street Market is entirely wheelchair accessible but due to the small old cottage rooms that The Studio is housed in it is currently not fully accessible for wheelchair users.
